What is BodyRhythms ?

BodyRhythms is a somatics based therapeutic movement practice that uses simple, gentle and uncomplicated dance exercises and routines, to allow you to engage more freely with your body through a physical journey of exploration. The journey is initiated through a dialogue of rhythm, movement, dance and imagery, to enrich the imagination, energise the body and relax the mind. 

This is an educational process that offers you the opportunity in a creative way, to explore the body's capacity for self care. BodyRhythms will unlock your body, allowing you to experience and learn new ways in which you can better look after yourself for a more active and balanced life of freedom and ease.

The practice is influenced by other therapeutic body-work methods such as Yoga, Authentic Movement, Body Mind Centring (BMC), movement meditation, Experiential Anatomy, breath work and dance and relaxation techniques, to help you sense and connect to the processes going on within. For a stress free life, 'BodyRhythms' will teach you how to engage with yourself to change the habits that are inhibiting your physical and emotional wellbeing, optimising the opportunity for self care, to regain the body's natural bounce and flow for a fuller and healthier life and body.
