Who is BodyRhythms for - ?

BodyRhythms is suitable for anyone who feels that they need to improve their  general state of health and wellbeing and would like to develop more of a functional awareness of oneself in relation to others and their environment. 

From the busy corporate executive who just wants a relief from the budget sheet, to the elderly in our community who want to improve their general state of health, and ways of coping with the aches and pains of old age. Whatever your stress or worry, ‘BodyRhythms’ has something to offer you. 

If you find that you are often experiencing feelings of distress, tiredness, confusion and often overwhelmed or depressed then - You could benefit from a Body Rhythms experience to bring your body back to it's natural bounce and flow.

Movement Angol promotes health through dance with BodyRhythms™, a fresh and creative approach to health and wellbeing.

"Dance is a major component of human social and spiritual development that harmonises mind, body and spirit in a never ending spiral of  renewal, enriched through the intrinsic rhythms and micro movements of the body" - (Angol 2009).  

What is BodyRhythms? 

BodyRhythmsis a specially developed somatics based movement practice that provides an opportunity to give one's body some self care, to re-energise the body’s natural bounce and flow for a fuller and healthier life.

A movement, dance and meditation practice, that is supported by various therapeutic based techniques and exercisers. The practice teaches you how to engage with your body, to improve your physical, mental and emotional state of wellbeing.

The practice is a fresh and creative approach to supporting the health and wellbeing of the individual, by creating opportunties for people to engage with their body's through a physical dialogue of movement, rhythm, dance, imagery and the imagination. 

An experience that allows you to develop a deeper awareness of yourself, in order to enable you to live the life that your are, rather than the life style that you have.

Movement Angol runs BodyRhythms group workshops, residential retreats, classes and courses for adults and young people.
